He’s already provided for you.

Sometimes I find myself worrying about the outcome of something. But then I have to remind myself of God’s word.

Romans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who a have been called according to his purpose.

God can take the good and the bad and somehow work it around where It works for you. God would even make your enemies, bless you. But when it seems like everything went left, God has a way of making a way in the wilderness.
I love this song called,” He’s Already Provided”, by Martha Munizzi.

Every promise you can claim

Just ask it in His name

Everything you need

He’s already provided for you.

Standing on FAITH

While studying the bible God lead me to read Psalms 19. Whenever God tells me to read a certain chapter or scripture I always ask for His understanding. At first I couldn’t realize why He told me to read Psalms 19. So I ask God what is you trying to tell me. And so I was led to read  Zechariah 9:8, follow by Luke 8:5. As I was reading it was like God was telling me He’s in control and to obey His law. When you  trust and abide in God, He will  keep you safe.

So as I was reading Luke 8:5 I was like Lord that’s it?!

Luke 8:5
“A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up.

Hence I continued to read the rest of the chapter. As I came to verse 11-15 it was like an eye opener.

LUKE 8:11-15
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away.
14 And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. 15 As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

One thing God told me was mediate on the WORD day and night.  My church is doing the faith journey. When it comes to faith you have to employ the WORD. If not how will you be able to remain firm against the wiles of the Devil?

Some of us go to church receive the WORD walk in it for a while then backslide. Others stand on it for a while then allow the Enemy to creep up in their thoughts and make them question God; just like He had done to Eve.

Genesis 3:1 â–º
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

You have to stand on that promise God has granted you. Letting nothing stop you from believing it’s gonna happen.

I was reading about the life of Walt Disney. This man had dealt with some trouble trying to build his dream. He started off working for a company making commercials based on cutout animation. Afterwards he went to the theater. Shortly he went into partnership with Harman. They started doing a screen  for a cartoon show. Later that show was cancel due to the studio  become burden with debt.
He was force to file for bankruptcy. Today your average person would have really given up right? But no not Disney…He pressed on! To make a long story short, he went into business with his brother. They both produced a few films. Before then he made a new character someone stolen his rights and Disney’s animators. But he still pressed on! He had a few setbacks but he pressed on. Walt Disney theme parks happens to be one of the popular theme park in this country.

Some of us needs to be more like him. Never pass up on the promise. God often gives us desires that leads to faith. Are you willing to remain faithful, trusting God that He will bring it to pass?

After reading I decided to pick a verse from the bible.

I encourage you to do that as well. Then I wrote the verse on a folded piece of paper. In the inside of the paper I wrote down every promise God has given me.  So every time I get attack by the enemy I can hit Him back with the WORD and the promises. So I do hope this helps someone. I hope everyone have a great day!

Also, I like to add each promise I thank God for because I know He will bring it to pass. So be thankful for the things that are to come.

Here’s something similar to my paper.

Make yours creative. Be sure to pray and study the word daily. Like, comment, or share with a friend.

Losing All Hope

This here is a poem I wrote today. Sometimes I simply just sit down and think next thing I know I’m writing. I’m putting up a separate message follow by this poem. Hope you enjoy this message. Love you all and don’t forget today to TrustGOD! It’s so important.

A wise man once said don’t give up.
Don’t ever lose faith. Trust in the Lord and He will make a way. I only hope for the best. However I’m still wondering how’s things going to turn out? It could become bad or turn around for my good. I honestly don’t know. I just know I can’t stay stuck here. It’s been a very long journey. I’ve had a few ups and downs; I had a few things turned around.

Each time I thought of giving up something from my past reminded me to move forward. I can’t run back to that place. That place of pain and disgrace.

Place of shame and hate. Who would have thought that life would be this tough? I’ve cried so many nights. Went to sleep with minimal amount of pain. I wish somebody would have told me  enough about life. I could have avoided all of it so easily.

I wish I could say I’ve been successful. Yet life has a way of passing you by. Why Lord, why me? Haven’t I suffered enough already? Lord you said that I am a lender and not the borrower.

“Be fruitful and multiply”, thus said
the Lord”.

And so why is my finance the way it is? It seems as if I have nothing to give.

Sometimes I just wanna break down and cry. Simply tired of life passing me by. I’m just struggling to get by. I really can’t give up now. I have come to far to turn back now. I have too much to lose.

Why me, Lord, why me?

(I will stop here)

Dying to self

image

Hence the title of my post is  “Dying To Self”.

No this is not a suicide post!

I was simply reading something that convicted me and I just thought I would be kind of enough to share.

I was merely sitting here complaining about my job and where I feel I should be. I had to sit down and think for a minute. At that minute it was like I begin to see how selfish and ungrateful I been. It was like God was reminding me how far he brought me.

Here I’m sitting here complaining about a job when there’s people with college degrees been out of school months, maybe even years; even so they still can’t find a job. What about the children in Third World countries being forced to work long hours in terrible conditions for little or no money. Allow me not even get started on the women who been forced into prostitution.

Romans 12:2 â–º

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

It was like God was telling me to get my mind off my problems and get into my presence.

Sometimes we believe we all have it together. In reality, we often don’t! I’m so glad God corrects me when I’m wrong.

Job 5:17
Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

I may not hold everything that I want. Guess what I found? I have a purpose here. It was ordained by God since the beginning. I will discuss more about the beginning in my following post “In the beginning”.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
â—„
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.

Who knows everything could be working for my good. No, scratch that it’s already working!

But like me how many of you are complaining about something? Could it be money, occupation, spouse, or kids. Put yourself into someone else shoes things could be worsened.

Just remember God is with you.

 1 Corinthians 10:13

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.

In other words, there’s nothing we can’t overcome.

1 Peter 4:12-19

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. Yet if anyone suffersas a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

You wanna know a little secret? Your problem is not your problem. It’s truly for your neighbor. Don’t you know that God had to take you through some things to get you to your purpose?

We are called to feed the homeless, clothe the poor, and visit the prisoner and help them.

 Matthew 25:36

I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.

Most importantly to glorify God.

I find it amusing when people who never experienced the things I did try to tell me what to do. I rather discover it from the one who experience it and press through it.

I’m stopping on this note: The things you are going through now is only equipping you for what God called you to do.

Write a list of the most painful/hurtful experience you’ve been through. And so pray to God asking Him, how can your story help someone.
